The killing joke is only the best Batman comic ever written. It was made in the 80's, but was the first book to show the joker as a serious threat and madman. This was way before Heath Ledger's portrayal, so it may seem a bit insignificant now. But it was momentous for its time. The long halloween reinvigorated Batman in the early 2000's with a more adult and twisted perspective. Read them!! They are awesome!!!
