This song was written by Missy Elliot and her childhood friend Tim "Timbaland" Mosley for her third studio album Miss E...So Addictive in the year 2000.It was released as the first single to the album and it peaked at number 7 at the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 4 at the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs. It also peaks at number 4 in the UK spending six weeks in the top 20.

The song has already been covered by Scottish acoustic rocker KT Tunstall and American rock band
Eels.

I like Missy Elliot because she is one of those women artists who don't market her beauty and body unlike a lot of the women artists of this present generation. She has talent,she can rap, dance ,write songs and is a producer. This things makes her a cut different from the rest.
